Solar Powered Hair Dryer? nope.

You can make a solar generator to run  some small appliances like portable hair dryers, toaster ovens, blenders and even small TV sets. I found fairly simple straightforward instructions on how to make a fabulous solar generator (with easy to find parts!) for under $400-- But I couldn't find a solar dryer anywhere. Sorry!

Non- electric isn't always best~
I once had an unfortunate experience with a propane powered curling iron- all I can say is :
1.Do not put a propane powered appliance close to your head.
2.Do not smoke a cigar while curling your toupee with a propane powered curling iron.
3. If your propane powered appliance begins to hiss and smell weird, throw it in a convenient ditch and call the authorities for assistance.

Then & Now

Barbie's Salon experience in the 60's: Hairpieces pinned in, messy dyes and curlers-- time under the big hood dryer-- almost every day she was going to the Salon it seemed. What a drag.  But today Barbie has those carefree extensions and only visits the salon every six weeks.  She blows out at home, slaps on the tiara, and she's ready to go hang with her plastic friend, Paris.

Old Grumpy Gilbert

I think we can safely assume this portable is a piece of work and difficult to deal with.

Portable Confusion

I wonder how this one works ? It looks like pull it off the base and  remove part of the outer shell.  Or maybe not. It appears to be called an Airjet.

Rich Kid, Poor Kid?

The rich kid was given many, many toys and so did not have to imagine very much at playtime and grew up to be a bored parasitic socialite with no imagination or sense of humor.

Poor kid was happy with a toy from a gumball machine and imagined his own little play-world through stories, drawings and sock puppets that he made himself. He grew up to be a commercial artist who supported himself and his family, and was contented.

Lego Blow Dryer

What do Lego bears need besides a cup and a ladle? A blow dryer is most important to a bear.
